Lily Lolo

While busy trying to look our best, we sometimes forget that some makeup products can be harmful. Our eyes are one of the most delicate and sensitive organs of the body and protecting them from harmful external factors is important. Valley Eye Clinic recommends Lily Lolo cosmetics. Free of the harmful chemicals listed, these products have been tested and verified by our trusted staff to still give the performance and look you desire.

Chemicals Known to Harm the Eye:

Valley Eye Clinic recommends avoiding these chemicals, as they may contribute to meibomian gland dysfunction and symptoms of dry eye. To learn more about meibomian gland dysfunction.

Skin Rejuvenation

Lumenis Intense Pulse Light Treatments

Valley Eye Clinic proudly offers Lumenis IPL photo rejuvenation.  Intense Pulse Light (IPL) is a non-surgical, non-invasive skin rejuvenation treatment. Pulsed light technology uses a series of light pulses that gently penetrate the top layers of skin, creating heat and breaking up pigmented areas.

Photo rejuvenation (IPL) sessions last only 15 minutes.  Prior to the procedure, a cooling gel will be applied to the treatment area and, for your eye’s safety, you will be provided protective eye wear. During the treatment you may experience a warm sensation, but the treatment is gentle and should not feel uncomfortable.

After treatment, you may experience redness around the treated areas that usually disappears quickly. Daily activities can be resumed immediately although, for best results, it is recommended to limit sun exposure after the procedure. In reaction, the body’s natural healing process removes pigment and improves skin texture through collagen stimulation, thus reducing fine lines, pore size, and wrinkles.

For optimal results, a series of five treatments is recommended.
